THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE MATCH
4′ – SCHLOTTERBECK DECIDED THE GOAL
Schlotterback believes he scored the opening goal after rising high and heading in a corner. However, referee Michael Oliver disallows the goal.

Kimmich was judged to have blocked the marker who was trying to follow Schlotterback into the box. The Germans will feel that it was very harsh.
7′ – SCHMEIHEL LOCK
A powerful effort from Kimmich goes towards Denmark’s goal. However, Schmeichel is there to make a good save.
From the next corner, the Danish goalkeeper was again forced to save Schlotterback’s header.
35′ – MATCH STOPPED
Two loud claps of thunder and a flash of lightning are enough for referee Michael Oliver. He interrupts the session and the teams leave the field.
42′ – HOYLUN MISSED A GOLDEN CHANCE
Schlotterback was caught on the ball deep in the German penalty area, giving Hojlund a golden chance, who fired into the side netting from a tight angle.
He should have done better.
49′- ANDERSEN’S GOAL CANCELED
Denmark’s free kick goes back into the penalty area and is thrown into the path of Andersen who shoots past the goalkeeper.
However, VAR checks the goal for an offside decision. Michael Oliver then cancels the goal.
53′ – GOAL! GERMANY 1 (HAVERZ) DENMARK 0
Havertz kicks the penalty into the bottom corner and Germany take the lead. Moments before they could fall behind.
It was a harsh penalty for handball on Andersen who moments earlier had a goal disallowed by VAR.
68′ – GOAL! GERMANY 2 (MUSIALA) DENMARK 0
A long ball forward goes straight into the path of Musiale who shoots over the keeper to double his side’s lead.
