Tournament format: The Olympic basketball tournament includes men’s and women’s teams competing in different groups. Each of the categories has 12 teams divided into three groups of four teams. Accor Arena in Paris: After the conclusion of the group stages, the action moves to Paris where the Accor Arena will host the elimination stages of the tournament. The arena has a capacity of 15,609 seats and is known as one of the leading sports and entertainment venues in Europe (BasketNews). These two locations provide excellent conditions for both players and fans, providing the ultimate atmosphere to watch one of the most exciting sporting events at the Olympic Games. Their use will certainly contribute to the dynamics and excitement that basketball brings every time at the Olympic Games. Basketball Olympic Games: Groups The group stage of the men’s basketball tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics promises some extremely interesting matchups. They are divided into three groups, each with four teams, and the matches in Group B and Group C are particularly noteworthy because of the teams involved and the rivalries that have developed over the years.
