Harry Kane missed out on a first domestic league title

Jun 07, 2024

Although he missed out on a first domestic league title, he is believed to lead his team to England’s Euro 2024 title, given his past results and style of play.

The England striker scored 36 league goals and provided eight assists in his first season in Germany, having swapped the Premier League for the Bundesliga last summer.

“I think the move to Bayern confirmed what everyone thought, that he can score goals at any level in any company,” he said.
“His record at Tottenham was fantastic, but to go to Germany and play for Bayern, who are probably not one of the biggest Bayern sides we’ve seen in the last 10 to 15 years, and score the number of goals he did says everything you need to know about Harry Kane.
“Harry Kane is probably the best number nine in business or world football at the moment, he certainly comes into the equation,” added McCoy.
“He is a great scorer and scores a variety of goals.”

“Headers, penalty kicks near the post, shots from outside the penalty area, left foot, right foot.” It has a whole range of targets in its artillery.
“Also, an added bonus if you like, I think he’s an extremely intelligent football player.”
“He can connect, he’s really smart and he can get down in the area.
“If he’s marked really tight, he can drop into the area and pick the ball up in the No.10 position.”
“If the midfielders go past him, the centre-backs have to go with the runner.”
“He’s going to get downfield and he’s got great vision so he can get people into the game, you know, he’s a great passer of the ball.”
“He’s just a really, really intelligent footballer whose goal return was nothing short of outstanding,” he adds.
