Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti saw his side claim a 2-0 victory in the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium in London, and praised their humility and team spirit. He went on to say that he did not find the group of players hard to manage after they extended the club’s record of winning European Cups to 15.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti celebrated “a dream” UEFA Champions League victory as his side defeated Borussia Dortmund in the final.
The two teams came together on Saturday night at Wembley Stadium, and two late goals from Real – first Dani Carvajal and then Vinicius Junior – completed a double for the La Liga club this season.
Ancelotti’s team were already La Liga champions, and victory in London gave them a 15th Champions League trophy, extending the club’s record.

It is the fifth time he has won the tournament as a manager, and the third time he has done it with Real, and speaking to TNT Sports on the pitch after the win, the 64-year-old Italian was delighted.
“It seems like a dream but it’s not a dream,” he began. “I’m really happy. It’s a really difficult game as usual.”
Real were outplayed at times, particularly in the first half, and Ancelotti acknowledged his opponent’s qualities, adding: “They played better in the first half, we played better in the second half.
“We were able to win and enjoy a fantastic season. We are really happy to be able to win the cup.”

Ancelotti then praised the atmosphere at the club, and downplayed the difficulty of managing such a talented group of players.
“The history and tradition of this club, the quality of the players, the club is a family,” he said. “We have a fantastic environment. The atmosphere is really good in the dressing room.
“I have to say thanks to my club and also the players, there is not a big ego, they are really humble.
“It was not difficult to manage this squad this season. I do not know what we are going to do, but for sure we are not going to sleep!”
